This Privacy Policy applies when you use our website CarScoring.com or our iOS or Android Application, when you visit our social media or contact us by any communication channel such as telephone, email or social media. This Privacy Policy does not apply when you use websites of third parties, even though you may be directed to them by us while using our website or Application. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time so, please, make sure to familiarize yourself with the up to date version on our website. When you use our website, Application or interact with us by any means of communication, we expect that you have read, understood and agree with this Privacy Policy.

“Personal Data” shall mean information about you by which we can, directly or indirectly identify you as a natural person.

While processing your Personal Data, we comply with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as GDPR, applicable legislation of the Czech Republic as well as instructions of the controlling authorities.

What Personal Data we are collecting:

  • your name and surname, if you provide it,
  • email address, apple/google account,
  • telephone number will be used to validate you as an individual Account user.
  • We may also collect for example your history of your orders in our Application, firebase UID, IP Address.

When you create your User Account, we also give you a unique Account user ID number (referred to as “User code”).

For the avoidance of doubt, credit/debit card information is collected by a Third Party provider of Payment management stripe.com. Please, read their data privacy policy here: Stripe Privacy Center.

How do we collect your Personal Data:

  1. directly from you,
  2. while using platforms or social media.

Purposes, why we are collecting your Personal Data:

We process your Personal Data in compliance with applicable data privacy legislation for the purpose of providing you the Services, internal administration of our customer base, and compliance with laws and regulations.

  1. creation and usage of your account, ordering and receiving Services,
  2. management of payments for Services,
  3. management of the website and Application, development, security, fraud prevention,
  4. publication and administration of reviews,
  5. dispute resolution, legal actions,
  6. our Services usage analytics. We may use generic anonymized data such as user statistics also for the purposes of improving and further developing our Services.

Legal basis for our processing of your Personal Data:

  1. GDPR Art 6 (1) a) your consent, which you gave us when creating your User Account;
  2. GDPR Art 6 (1), b) processing is necessary for the performance of our Agreement or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract;
  3. GDPR Art 6 (1), c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject to;
  4. GDPR Art 6 (1), f) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us.

Third Parties:

When sharing your Personal Data with Third Parties, we treat them as confidential information.

  1. We may provide your Personal Data to any government authorities, auditors, advisers if we are requested or required to do so, without your further consent;
  2. We may share your data to data processors that help us with our business operations:
    • provider of accounting SW,
    • providers of marketing services,
    • providers of payments management,
    • social media: Meta Platforms, Google, Linkedin, Tiktok, youtube. Given that we only manage our own account on these social media platforms, we recommend that you learn the data privacy rules of these respective platforms.

Data retention

we will retain your Personal Data for the entire duration of your User Account existence and up to maximum three (3) years after.

You may contact us at any time via the contact details per the Notices section if you wish to opt-out or withdraw your consent with our processing of your Personal Data at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, we may need to retain your Personal Data despite your consent withdrawal in cases when it is allowed by the laws and regulation to retain Personal Data without your consent.
